Cassper Nyovest is counting down to his highly anticipated Fill Up Mmabatho stadium concert which will be taking place this weekend, December 3. To get the community amped up, he has decided to donate 100 pairs of his Root Of Fame sneakers, he created in partnership with Drip Footwear's Lekau Sehoana.

Cassper Nyovest has been waiting for this moment for a long time now and it has finally arrived. Fill Up Mmabatho stadium will be at his birthplace Mahikeng.

To give back, he decided to donate shoes to the kids at the Legae Motheo Shelter and Welfare Centre in Seweding village. With the help from the department of social development Mahikeng mayor Gosiame Seatlholo and volunteers, he managed to put a smile on 100 kids with his Root Of Fame sneakers.

He also said the children will be attending for free.

“This is a collaboration of fashion and music for a purposeful outcome. We also extended an invite for the children to come watch #FillUpMmabatho for free this Saturday," he wrote.

“Special gratitude goes out to the honourable mayor for making time to be with us, the volunteers who constantly give their hearts out in helping the children, and the department of social development for going the extra mile in helping us identifying these homes.”

As much as his fans are proud of him, his girlfriend Thobela Madjozi is just as proud.

“Such a good role model for not just our child but all the children out there. Well done dada,” she wrote.

Not only that, but he had been Hard at work getting the community rile up for the concert. He recently held a fun run as well. “Maftown, I love you. We filled up the streets with love, fun and a togetherness today. Thank you for showing up. We are promoting a healthy lifestyle this festive. Next week we #FillUpMmabathoStadium,” he said.

When he announce Fill Up, Cassper wrote, Nyovest shared the news on Twitter as he wrote, 'Breaking News!!! FILL UP is back & we going home.  DEC 3rd!!! Mafikeng, Mmabatho stadium, where it all started for me as a young kid from the township. This stadium is a walk away from my grandmothers house where I grew up. Tickets out now at Web Tickets! #FillUpMmabathoStadium'

Cassper had a life changing experience recently when he lost his good friend DJ Sumbody. He performed Monate Mpolaye at his funeral and was met with backlash.

At his service she said, "He was not scared to tell what everyone was scared to say and from there we became very close mutual friends. We went on to release the song Monate Mpolaya and I didn't like it but he would take no for an answer and when the song was released it changed everyone's career not only theirs but even mine.

It became one of my biggest songs to perform on stage and when I performed it at Global Citizen and everyone loved it he said there was not only hying that was missing,"
