Cassper Nyovest collaborates with The Roots member

Cassper Nyovest is having so many amazing moments in his career.

The rapper, who launched his own cellphone about a week ago, is making more of his dreams a reality.

The Doc Shebeleza hitmaker, who is currently in the USA, has shared that he was in the studio with The Roots member Black Thought. 

The South African rapper shared the special moment on his Instagram page. 

 

🇺🇸x🇿🇦Got to lab with one of my idols last night. One of the most intimidating sessions of my life. I have never experienced a writer of such a caliber first hand. He wrote 2 verse before I wrote my first verse and he had me pick which one I liked. I felt like my whole career was preparation for the moment. When I came out the booth he said “I like your verse, that shit dope”. It was such a relieve. I also learnt so much last night. #TeacherAndStudent #MaftownToPhilly #DreamsComeTrue

This is not the first time that Cassper, who hails from Mafikeng in the North West, has worked with an international arist. He has done collaborations with DJ Drama, The Game, and Talib Kweli.
