Cassper Nyovest is full of praises for American rapper Jay-Z after he became the first hip hop artist to become a billionaire.

Cassper took to Twitter this morning to send a great shout out to Jay-Z on his recent achievement.

He Tweeted, "Okay wait, Jay-Z becoming the first billionaire hip hop ever produced is crazy on its own. What I didn't know is that Jay Z is now the fifth black billionaire America has ever seen. That sh**t is f***ng crazy inspiring!! What a dude, a hustler who keeps maturing."

Some of his followers encouraged him to follow the footsteps of Mr Carter.

While there were also those who were not so kind to Nyovest.

Cassper on Friday released his latest video for his single -  "Move for me" from his latest album "Sweet and short."

The video, which stars American fitness model Jessica Burciaga, is currently at 700,000 views and rising.

As for Jay-Z, according to Forbes magazine, The magazine has claimed the 49-year-old’s empire “conservatively” totals $1bn (R14 billion) after valuing his various ventures as well as any real estate and his art collection.

Jay-Z, is one of just a handful of billionaire entertainers and the first hip-hop artist to claim such a fortune.

Jay-Z grew up in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn selling drugs as a youngster this was before he was involved with hip hop. At this point he had no record label, he started selling CDs out of his car before releasing his first album, Reasonable Doubt which has sold more than 1.5m copies since. In 2008's, he married Beyoncé, whose net worth is estimated to be $355m.
