He held several jobs when he was growing up including gardening, working as a golf caddie,

petrol attendant, to help support his family.
He joined the University of Zululand and graduated in 1986 with a diploma in law.

he got

He founded a black-owned IT firm called Gijima Technologies and its holding
company Gijima
Group.
Gijima Technologies successfully won government contracts to develop and deploy IT
solutions
for the Departments of Justice and Correctional Services and Home Affairs.

(GijimaASTP), which went
