Actress Connie Chiume on Friday celebrated her birthday but this year it was a different one for her as it was the first without her mother.
A few months ago, the legendary actress lost her mother, known as MaNdlovu after a battle with lung cancer, which spread across her body.
Taking to Twitter Connie reflected on her blessed she has been all these years and celebrating the day without her mom.
“My first birthday without my mother and mind you… I’m 60+…I realize how blessed I have been all these years and now I live to be a blessing to my children, to my siblings, to my family, my friends, colleagues and fans! Rose TO MANY MORE YEARS OF BEING” LO YA MAMA O ON!! “👌🏾 shared the actress.
Social media on Friday was filled with love for the actress who has been on Mzansi screens since the ’70s and is still acting. Her latest role is on Mzansi Magic’s newest drama Gomora as Ma Sonto.
