One of the cars that President Cyril Ramaphosa is often driven in is an armoured BMW 7 Series which is considered one of the most luxurious armoured vehicles in the world.

According to sources, President Cyril Ramaphosa reportedly takes home a handsome yearly salary of R 3,900,000 and he is currently one of the highest-paid presidents in Africa.

Prior to launching his active political career, President Cyril Ramaphosa had already established himself as a successful businessman with investments in various sectors including the financial services, the food industry where he has significant stakes in Coca-Cola and McDonald’s South African subsidiaries, and the mining business.
After his appointment as the deputy president of South Africa in 2014, Cyril Ramaphosa had to step back from some of his business dealings to avoid conflict of interest. He stepped down from being the chairman of an investment firm called Shanduka Group.
In 2015, Forbes Magazine estimated Cyril Ramaphosa’s net worth at $450 million placing him amongst the richest people in South Africa. This net worth is projected to have grown over the years.
