Social media has been divided by the lockdown with many people calling for it to end but a handful calling for the country to go back to level 5.
ZAlebs have lent their voices and discussing the affects of lockdown and why opening the country is important for struggling families, saying those calling for level 5 to return are selfish and privileged.
"Why should we die broke? Rather die trying. This is sad man. Lockdown must end. This doesn’t make sense anymore," Maphorisa tweeted.
Other ZAlebs who live off of 'no work, no pay' slam the alleged corruption that has been taking place in the country whilst them and the poor communities suffer the most.
"The truth of the matter is most of us will be killed by poverty. Uyadela wena one tender nawe osebenzela uHulumeni (happy are those who have tenders and work for government.). Thina nje o No work No pay sivika indlala more than Covid-19,(for us who are told 'no work, no pay' we are fighting off hunger more than COVID-19," wrote comeidan Thenjiwe.
