DJ Maphorisa’s daughter is a beautiful young girl called Lesedi. She is a 13-year-old bubbly girl who celebrates her birthday every 4th of February.

For Lesedi’s 12th birthday, DJ Maphorisa took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter and ask his fans to help wish her a happy birthday.

Although he shares photos of himself with his daughter occasionally, DJ Maphorisa is a typical protective dad who tries to keep his daughter away from the limelight as much as possible.

While it is a known fact that DJ Maphorisa has a daughter, the identity of the mother of his daughter is unknown and there is reason to believe that she is not a celebrity.

It’s also unclear if DJ Maphorisa was ever married to his baby mama and the circumstances surrounding their break up.

For the longest time, there have been speculations that DJ Maphorisa is dating actress/model Thuli Phongolo. Although there have been supporting “evidences” from Twitter police linking the two together, Thuli P has always denied the dating allegations while Lord Phori has always refused to comment on the alleged relationship.

In 2020, DJ Maphorisa found himself in the middle of a fierce catfight between two young influencers. The catfight was ignited by Cyan Boujee who claimed DJ Maphorisa as her boyfriend and launched a missile of words against another young woman identified as Beverly Tlhako whom she accused of having an affair with DJ Maphorisa. While the war of words escalated quickly, Lord Phori as usual ignored the whole drama.

DJ Maphorisa was born in 1987 and raised in Pretoria. He grew up in a very musically inclined household as his mother was a member of the local church choir.

Despite his love for music, DJ Maphorisa began to take his career seriously when he joined the group Uhuru. In 2013, they released the chart-topping single titled Y-tjukutja.

Over the years, Lord Phori who is signed under his own production label- Blaqboy Music, has worked with some of the biggest artists in South Africa including DJ Zinhle, Kwesta, Kabza De Small, Black Coffee, and Busiswa, among others. He has also worked with international stars including Wizkid, RunTown and Drake.
