Following this weekend’s Channel O Awards and the drama that has ensued from it, we thought it’d be best to catch up with someone who loves the hip hop game as much as anybody else in the country, DJ Warras. 5FM’s outspoken personality was interviewed by our Cape Town based journalist, Blessing Donsa, who took the awesome video below.
We speak to DJ Warras, aka the Shady Lurker, about the state of Hip Hop in Mzansi following another strong year for the genre in South Africa.
Have a look at both part 1 and part 2 of our exclusive interview with DJ Warras as he gets down and dirty in dissecting South African hip hop.
