Big Brother Mzansi’s premise is based on the international format of the Big Brother show. It follows the daily lives of a selected group of people who are all confined in a house, and all their moves are monitored by cameras that are installed in the house.
The lives of these participants are broadcasted on television, and audiences get to watch them 24/7 and decide who gets to win the competition through voting.
The main goal of the show for the participants is to be the last man or woman standing and not to be evicted during the weekly nominations by housemates or public eviction. To do that, housemates need to up their game and be interesting, bold, and willing to go to extremes just to draw attention to themselves.
