It's been a few weeks since AKA launched his streaming channel, AKA TV. The rapper has promised fans great content on the channel with exclusive performances such as the AKA Orchestra On The Square debuting on the channel.

AKA revealed on 5FM's "The Instaview" with Ms Cosmo that the subscription service was long in the works before the coronavirus pandemic hit.

The channel has The Supa Mega Show which debuts live performances from the rapper and he has now that shared that another show is in the works.

Sharing a series of images, AKA said the first episode of The Braai Show has been shot and features Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula who is a big fan of the culture.

Fans of Supa Mega have praised the AKA TV initiative with many subscribing without hesitations but as with anything the channel isn't for everyone.

Cassper Nyovest has shared his opinion on what he thinks about AKA’s new venture on Twitter. A Twitter troll commented on the post telling Mufasa that social media is busy on AKA TV. Cassper did not waste time replying to the troll labelling AKA TV as “filth” that he doesn't want taking up space on his timeline.
