Yho! Here's something we didn't see coming.

Vuyo Dabula, who plays Gadaffi on Generations: The Legacy, is leaving the soapie.

The sad news was confirmed on the show's website. In a statement, it was revealed: "The actor requested to be released from his contract as he has other projects he would like to explore."

Vuyo said: "This is the one place where I blew up and I think now is the time to move on and do other things with the exposure the show has given me." He added that the show has allowed him to take his craft to newer and better levels.

Generations: The Legacy creator Mfundi Vundla said: "He's a talented man, he'll certainly flourish in all his endeavours."

We won't lie, this is the saddest news we've heard today. How are we going to watch Generations now? Who are we going to crush on? Cosmo? Eish...
