Let’s face it, breaking into South African entertainment isn’t easy, but Gigi Lamayne is here to make it all better – especially if you’re a young, undiscovered, female rapper.
Gigi took to social media to announce her first ever one-woman show, a first for South African hip hop by the way, earlier this week and revealed that it would be making its way around the country in 2019. The Gigi Gang Show looks like it’s going to be a lit affair from the sounds of what she’s promised:

The announcement was greeted with a lot of fanfare from hip hop lovers around the country but it’s only getting better. Gigi promised that the line-up would be filled with a number of notable acts, but also added that it would include some of the hottest undiscovered Emcees in the country.
She hinted that she’d be scouting for talent on social media:
