Why we love Glen Lewis

For many radio listeners, April, is not the greatest of months as it marks a time when radio stations prepare to announce their new line-ups.

The radio switch up has been a change that some have embraced whilst others dread and although we're a few days away from April, there are a few radio stations which have already announced either a new addition to their radio team or a change in the lineup.

Remember when 947 made an early announcement about Anele switching slots with current breakfast show host Darren "Whackhead" Simpson?

And now, Times Live has confirmed that Glen Lewis who co-hosts The Avenue on Metro FM will be leaving the station and joining Tbo Touch's revamped digital online radio station - Touch HD.

Speaking to the publication Touch HD's publicists Lulu Ndevu confirmed that Glen will indeed be a part of the Touch family.

"We can confirm that they have joined the station. We are excited to welcome them on board. Their appointment is in line with our strategy to bring the best talent on the African continent to the station," Lulu said.

So does this mean that this is the end Metro FM's The Avenue?
