The Springboks, led by Siya Kolisi have made history! South Africa has just been awarded the rights to host the 2020 Sevens World just days ago and today, we celebrate as President Ramaphosa, Siya Kolisi and Rassie Erasmus and the Springboks lift the Webb Ellis Cup for an astonishing THIRD time!

Captain Siyamthanda Kolisi, presented a jersey number 6 to President Ramaphosa, led the Springboks to a 32 -12 victory against England in full view of South Africans across the world and set an all new standard. No team has ever lost a match during the World Cup and gone on to win the tournament. Most importantly for Siya – his father Fezakele Kolisi was in the stands at Yokohama stadium in Japan, to watch him make history!

Springboks Head Coach Rassie Erasmus admitted his naivety at the impact that appointing Siya Kolisi as Springbok Rugby captain would have on not only the team, but the country at large.

Siyamthanda Kolisi has ascended to the peak in the world of rugby. Raised in the dusty streets of Zwide could not possibly have thought that he would be a maker of history in this much cherished moment for all South African. Captain Siya Kolisi has lifted the Webb Ellis Cup at Yokohama Stadium in Japan!!!

We are a proud Zanation!
