Ever since Gqeberha The Empire aired early in the month, it has already under a microscopic lens for scores of viewers. One would argue that since this new telenovela replaced the most loved and viewed The Queen, people are only watching to compare already.
Even entertainment blogger Phil Mphela’s cryptic tweet suggested that he was a taking a jab at Gqeberha The Empire. Even though he was very subtle and safe on his tweets but immediately scores of tweeps jumped into his bandwagon and lambasted Gqeberha The Empire for poor production and lackluster story line.

Viewers grievances ranges between the show not having strong characters and talent, even though it was initially dubbed as one of the most star studded television show. Also viewers outcry is about the poop production, where they have complained that Gqeberha The Empire is giving very low budget production and last but not least, the story line has been bothersome for a number of viewers.

Veteran actress Vatiswa Ndara has been hailed as one of the character’s that should have been on Gqeberha The Empire. However, considering her beef with The Ferguson’s that work closely with the production teams of Gqeberha The Empire. It became very impossible for Ndara to join the cast. Currently, Ndara is getting none to no roles despite her caliber in the acting industry after she was blackballed some time ago.
