House of Zwide an e. TV production South African drama series and co-produced by Videovision Entertainment and Bomb Shelter. The series was released on 19 July 2021, whereby it replaced Rhythm City on e.TV. 

Vusi Kunene was born on 12 April 1966 in Meadowlands in Johannesburg, South Africa. He acts as the Funani Zwide, the leading role in the House of Zwide drama series. Vusi Kunene is the owner and the founder of House of Zwide.

Winnie Ntshaba is a South African Actress born on 1 September 1975. Her first acting role was in 2004 when she was featured in a local drama series Jozi Streets. She is among the leading House of Zwide’s cast with her role as Faith Zwide, who is a co-founder of House of Zwide and Funani’s wife.

Jeffrey Sekele is a voice artist and a South African actor born in Leeufontein in Limpopo in August 1973. He began his professional acting after graduating from Technikon Pretoria in 1999. Since then, he has appeared and acted in several series such as Muvhango, Strike Back, End Game, and Jozi-H.  Jeffrey also landed a role in House of Zwide drama, acting as Isaac Molapo, a gangster and Umkhonto we Sizwe veteran.

Nefisa Mkhabela is a 20-year-old actress and one of the youngest House of Zwide cast. She plays a role as Ona Molapo on the e. TV drama series. Nefisa started her acting career in 2018 after winning a role in the Unmarried drama series aired on 1Magic.

Maleme is a South African actress born in 1980 in Free State, South Africa. She made her first appearance in acting after landing a role in Bubomi Sana and later won a role in the Muvhango series. Matshepo acts as Isaac’s wife, Rea Malepo, in the House of Zwide drama series.

Wanda was born on 7 September 1991 in Umlazi, South Africa. Wanda’s first acting debut was on a SABC 1 soap, Uzalo, in 2018, where he acted as a hitman. Wanda Zuma plays the role of Funani and Faith’s son, Nkosi Zwide, in the House of Zwide drama.

Noah Cohen is an American filmmaker and actor best known for his role as the ruthless businessman De Villiers in the House of Zwide film. Noah relocated to South Africa after graduating with a BFA in Theater and Film productions from the University of British Columbia in 2016. He made his first screen appearance after acting as De Villiers in the House of Zwide in June 2018. 

Shalate Sekhabi is an actress and model born in 2000 in Mafikeng, South Africa. She graduated from the University of Witwatersrand with a Bachelor’s degree in film and production in 2019. Shalate started her acting career in 2020 after playing a recurring role in the 1Magic soap, The River as Millicent. Shalate Sekhabi landed her role as Shoki in the House of Zwide drama series in 2021. 

There are other actors and actresses in the leading roles of the e.tv drama series, House of Zwide, which has been played by individuals such as Londeka Mchunu acting as Zanele Zwide, Funani and Faith’s daughter, Paballo Mavundla acting as an intern, Sandile in the House of Zwide, Karabo Mapongwo as Keletso, and Lwazi Mthembu as a fashion designer known as Nomsa.
