Skhanda Republic citizens stand up! K.O season is upon us once again.

Papa Action, the new single from the Cashtime Life general has just hit the interwebs and it promises to ruffle a couple of feathers.

For some of you that might not remember, Papa Action is the notorious gangster character from the classic Yizo Yizo series that terrorised the hood with his cohort Chester.

Portrayed initially by the ever proficient Ronnie Nyakale in the first season and later by Zola in the second, Papa Action was everyone's favourite bad guy.

The single is a clear proclamation by the CaraCara hitmaker that he is indeed THAT dude; a no nonsense MC that paved the way for the Skhanda Movement's existence since he came out as a solo act, moving incredible units in the process.

Since the release of songs like Ding Dong, One Time, Gangster Love and featured verses with his Cashtime clique, one gets the sense in this offering that K.O feels he hasn't really gotten the respect that he rightfully deserves, and is ready to settle some proverbial scores.

It stands to reason, when other rappers like Cassper Nyovest and AKA have been hailed as heirs to the throne. Even in your typical "who's the best" heated debates amongst heads, K.O's name hardly comes up.

Something I've never personally understood, as the multi award-winning artist has proved time and time again that he isn't only a dope rapper, but a successful businessman and a South African icon in the making.

This will surely remind fans and naysayers alike that "not everyone can do this" as consistently and stuntingly (yeah, I just made that word up) as he has.

Ladies and gentleman Papa Action 3.0, sans the toothpick, is back in the building.
