Actor Tshepo 'Howza' Mosese has taken the decision to exit popular soapie Scandal! after 8 years of playing Lerumo Chabedi. He entered the soapie in the year 2013 playing a bodyguard. Thereafter he secured a more permanent role as a detective in Newtown.

The multitalented actor who is also a rapper, singer and TV presenter, announced his departure on the 1st of of June, saying he looks forward to the future.
Speaking about the time he spent on Scandal! Howza said he enjoyed every minute of it and that his exit was on his own accord. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time on Scandal! and I’m grateful to have gotten the opportunity to grow as a performer and act with some of the best talent in the business. I look forward to continuing to push myself to take on new challenges.”
Howza will still be on our small screens as a presenter on SABC 2's Speak Out. The talented actor who has an impressive resume also acted in a number of popular soapies including Generations and Backstage.
He is no stranger to the presenting industry as well as his first gig was in 2008, as the host for Big Up.
Before him, popular actor Romeo Medupe also exited the show. The details surrounding his exit are still a bit sketchy as many speculated he left on his own accord, and others say he was fired because of not seeing eye-to-eye with the producers.
It was even speculated that he was offered a R100K increment on his salary which they denied, "There’s a published article circulating around that Hungani is leaving the show. As #etvScandal, we’re disputing every allegation stated in the article. Hungani has not been fired by production. We’re happy with his excellent professionalism and work ethic."
