The Queen recently returned home in Limpopo to a warm welcome.

Shudu started off her three-day tour with breakfast at the Meropa Casino and Entertainment Centre attended. She broke bread with the Limpopo premier Chupu Mathabatha, who was accompanied by MECs and other executive mayors of both the Capricorn and Vhembe districts.
She also visited the Takalani Childrenās Home, Malamulele Nsovo Special School and Fulufhelo Special School. She had stated once during a press conference that was held in Cape Town, that food security is close to her heart especially in rural areas.
āI will continue the fight against food insecurity in rural communities because children can only be their best at school when their basic needs are met. I believe that all of this will continue the efforts of bringing about economic empowerment in this country as more children will be given a fair chance at becoming active members of the economy through educational empowerment.”
