Tumie Nhutang is a fashion force to be reckoned with in Botswana. The Motswana fashionista and content creator is currently visiting the Mother city with her husband. The power couple are living their best lives and we're all here for the travel content Tumie has been sharing on her socials. Last weekend the lovebirds took a drive to Franschoek Valley and had the most luxurious time.

She got to visit Quoin Rock Wine Estate in Stellenbosch which is a romantic venue popular for weddings and engagement ceremonies. It boasts some magical picturesque mountain views in an elegant botanical garden. Quoin is quite popular now because of its new modern look after undergoing a transformation and complete revamp. Tumie got to dine at their popular Gate restaurant which she described as a “glorious food experience”. She also took some gorgeous photos in a dazzling red ensemble. As always, she was sure to style her look to fit the romantic theme of Quoin.

The next day, Tumie visited La Petite Colombe which is listed as South Africa’s 6th best restaurant according to Eat Out Guide. They offer contemporary fine dining experiences and are located in Franschoek at the gorgeous Lieu Estates. One of the really cool things about this venue is the celebration of contemporary art and sculptures all around the gardens. La Petite Colombe is definitely one of the most Instagram worthy spots in the Cape Winelands and a lot of influencers love to create content on the beautiful grounds. Tumie was no different and showed off her all jeans look as she posed alongside the beautiful art. She took to her Instagram to share that La Petite Colombe had stolen her heart saying that the whole experience from the fine dining to the art was absolutely perfect.

To end the day, her and her hubby spent the night at La Providence Farm which is a luxurious guest house and boutique wine farm located also in Franschoek Valley. Tumie shared images of the farmhouse which left her fans just wanderlusting and wishing they were there with her. From the majestic mountain views, the classic furniture finishes, to the cosy vibe the interior offered we are sure the lovebirds thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Tumie described it as a “magical break from the city”.

To wind up the beautiful weekend, Tumie and her boo visited Haute Cabriere cellar for a good old wine tasting. This family owned winery is the home of famous French Huguenot, Pierre Jourdan. They made sure to sample the famous Pierre Jourdan brut which Haute Cabriere is best known for. This was paired with macaroons that we couldn’t help but salivate on. Tumie also got to visit the wine cellars at Haute Cabriere and captured some amazing images by the lakeside.

We can’t help but feel a bit envious of Tumie’s luxurious trip to the Cape Winelands where she managed to visit all the best spots. Today, she released a Youtube video on her channel where she shows her followers how she packed for her Cape Town vacation and her fans were amazed by how organized she is. We hope that this is the first of a Cape Winelands series and can’t wait to see what more Tumie gets up to at the Cape.
