Jessica Nkosi

Local actress Jessica Nkosi recently welcomed a baby girl with partner TK Dlamini and we bet she has several things to celebrate including a blossoming career.

The gifted actress has graced our screens for a couple of years and most would know and relate with her as the sweet and reserved Qondi a rural girl now turned Queen on Isibaya.

Throughout her career, Jessica has been nominated for top accolades including Sowetan Live’s 2014 sexiest women in Mzansi and judging by the sauce she continues to serve us at top entertainment events, we wouldn’t think otherwise.

Being the bubbly personality that she is, Jessica opened up to the world how she dropped her law studies to focus on her passion in acting after she failed Criminal Law. She went on to graduate with a B.A in Drama and Performing Arts from the University of KwaZulu Natal.

However, following her success in the acting industry, she believes failure is not the end of the road for any believer as she may have failed law but has made a bigger name for herself as an actress.

The 28-year-old, a native of Esikhawini Township in Empangeni, Durban is grounded in deep family values and the need to keep her private life private though she is a top celebrity.

From sharing with the world her endless love and the good relationship she had with her late father, the inspiration she receives in her mother and how she continues to keep it all together is motivating.

Also a firm believer in bringing positive change to the world, the actress has a soft spot for children in need and over the years this has seen her working with the Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa to support children affected by cancer.

Her bigger vision is to open the Jessica Nkosi Foundation which will also mentor young generations into bringing positive change in the society.
