Despite the many complaints that were lodged ever since the start of Uyajola 9/9 by viewers who viewed the show as a negative representation of the black community, Mzansi is surely indulging in the reality show, shooting it's ratings up to the number 3 spot.
Jub Jub thanked Mzansi for the growing support as they continue watching Uyajola 9/9 and making it the third most watched show on DSTV. Since it's inception in 2019, the numbers continued to increase
He also acknowledged the growing support the black owned channel MojaLove has been getting even after it was deemed too violent and misrepresents the black South African culture.
"I wanna thank you guys for supporting me, I wanna thank you guys for believing in me. The channel I am aligned with, the black-owned channel. I wanna thank you guys for believing in the channel. Last week, we were the 3rd most watched channel in the country with my show beating over 2.5 million viewership," he said.
