He realized his passion for music at an early age and by the time he was 10 years old, he had started writing songs.

Kabza continued writing music through primary and high school and officially launched his career as a DJ in 2009 when he was still a teenager. He later revealed during a past interview that although he didn’t have enough resources when he began his career, he knew what he wanted with his career and he kept pushing.
