The record label issued a statement explaining that due to a number of factors, they had to move the release date

“We are aware that you have been waiting with bated breath for the release of Zama Khumalo's highly anticipated album," read the statement.

" As you are aware, we are a record label that takes pride in making quality music and while we had originally planned for a September release, a number of factors including Covid-19 meant we had to move that date out.”

The stable shared that Zama's album launch has been moved to next month.

Zama scored a record label deal with Kalawa Jazmee as part of her Idol SA's winner's package which also included R1 million, R150,000 worth of the latest Samsung products, a new Toyota Starlet 1.4, R100,000 worth of fashion from Truworths, a Kymco Xciting 400 scooter worth R120,000, and R80,000 worth of musical instruments from Yamaha.

Earlier this year she received her car from Toyota. She thanked Toyota and Idols SA for making it happen.

She also received her " Kymco Xciting 400 scooter worth R120,000" in August this year.

Showing off her new ride on Instagram, she shared cute snaps with a caption that read: "Just got my new baby today, early birthday present... Thank you @idolssa, this is all because of you and shout out to @kymco_southafrica for this beautiful scooter"

While her fans are impatiently waiting for an album, the singer has been working hard to keep them entertained.

She recently teamed up with her boyfriend Idols SA finalist Brandon Dhludhlu and dropped their popular love song titled Ngimtholile.

They told Daily Sun that they have always wanted to work together. "The song is about a person who is expressing his love to his lover. It speaks to everyone who believes in love and those who have lost hope. It's all about spreading love.

"We've always wanted to work together but during the idols competition, we didn't get a chance. Now when the chance availed itself we both jumped at it because we wanted to hear what our fans imagined," Brandon told the publication.

Zama also previously released her hit single titled Ndizobizwa. The song was well-received by her fans. Taking to Instagram to react to the love and support she thanked her fans for making her dream a reality, "I can never thank you enough for what you've done for me. Thank you for all your beautiful messages and all your prayers, thank you for sharing Bible verses with me, for carrying me throughout the journey. I appreciate each and every one of you.” she wrote.
