Katlego Danke might not be on our TV screens right now, but that doesn't mean she won't be back. The actress recently told Drum magazine that she has every intention of coming back to the industry.
Katlego, who is one of the fired 16 Generations actors, added: "Even if it takes me five years. I am not an actress only because I was on Generations, I’m an actress because it is who I am."
Although she's no longer working with her former cast members, she told Drum she says she’s still in contact with them. She added: "Even though I don’t work with the other 15 actors we are still close. We are even closer than before because of the recent circumstances. We are like family now and they’ve become the people that you can speak to about your challenges."
The actress who gave birth to a baby boy last year, is currently focusing all her energy on being a mother. She told the mag that motherhood has changed her, adding: "Being a mom is a blessing and it challenges you to become a better version of you."
While she's loving that part of her life, she also revealed that she plans to move behind the scenes as a producer or director. And, all her experience in the industry has made her wiser. She warned aspiring actors to get into the industry for the right reasons. She said: "For anyone wanting to get in this industry my advice is, don’t get into the industry because you want to be famous: do it because you love it."
