Love is in the air in ZAlebville and it's beautiful to see our favorite ZAlebs putting levelling it up in their relationships this love month.
Limpopo born Musician King Monada, might be preparing for his big day soon. This follows after he went on one knee to ask the mother of his children, Lerato Ramawela, to marry him.
It is no secret that the couple has stood the test of time when it comes to their relationship. They have been together for a decade now, and they continue to serve major power couple goals on social media.
In a cute video he posted on his Instagram account, he is seen on one knee and when his wife turns back to him, he presents the ring and asks for her hand. King Monada captioned the video "If you tell me you love me, I might not believe you but if you show me you do, then I will."
Fans and celebs took to the comments section to congratulate the couple. Lady Du even promised to compose a love song for the couple and perform it free of charge at their wedding.
"Omg I love this sooooo much please I’d like to personally write a love song for your wedding and perform it free of charge."
King Monada's friend also commented on his Facebook post and melted the hearts of many people. Morwana Tshabakefete wrote, "Congratulations my guy, this is the dopest smart move ever, this is the lady who has been there for you since day 1 o sale DJ Monada, days were we used to receive bad words from people calling us MAKOMPO, when people used to bhooooooooooo while performing, when people said they will never listen to ur music, she was there for you since and supported u till today, I am proud of you brother King Monada."
King Monada and Lerato celebrated their 10 year anniversary this past weekend and they left Mzansi in their feels. In celebration of the monumental occasion, the musician shared pictures of him and his wife Lerato Ramawela on a picnic. During the picnic he also popped the big question.
Having been together for a decade, he expressed gratitude and said he looked forward to celebrating more decades together.
The Malwedle hitmaker recently split from his second wife Leon who he apparently kicked out of his house in Limpopo. According to Sunday World sources Leon always called him out when he came home late.
“She didn’t understand that by virtue of being a celebrity, Monada is a people’s person and sometimes or always will return home late at night because he has to make money. But she will nag him for that,” said a source who did not want to be named. Leon reportedly also ill-treated his family, particularly his mother.
“He then told her to go back to her parents’ home to be properly disciplined as she lacked respect. She left but returned to Monada’s house later in a bakkie and took her stuff and drove off.”
