Yesterday a Collen Bongani Maduna on Facebook almost gave South Africans heart attacks after posting that television and radio broadcaster Kuli Roberts had passed on. Luckily it was all fake news as Kuli has taken to social media to rubbish these claims and assure her followers that she is very much alive and well.

“Rest In Peace Kuli Roberts. Lala Ngoxolo Sisi” was the post from this individual who was looking for attention.

In her response, Roberts apologized to anyone who might have come across the post and said that the boy needs to finish his matric. “Id like to apologize to anyone who saw this. This boy needs to finish Matric.”

The unfortunate thing about social media is that anyone can make up news and post it as truth, hence it’s important to verify news from reliable sources. Kuli is currently mourning the passing of her little sister Lulu Banda. She opened up about her loss recently on Twitter.

Sharing the news of her passing, Roberts revealed that Lulu was the best thing to ever happen to her. She also added that she is glad Lulu is no longer in pain.

“Rest in Peace my baby. You the best thing that's ever happened to me and I'm grateful that u not in pain anymore. Miss u so much already and in utter disbelief, our plans remain unchanged and I will for Lawi. Rest in peace Lulu Banda. You will always be my heart, little sister.”

The former Trending SA star added that her sister was one of those people who was always there. “We used to wake up and take her to Red Cross Children's Hospital every day as she would get hives. I remember her being stuck in plaster after they broke both her legs in order to straight them. We chilled together for months rocking and getting em straight She was the only one out of all those people who was always there,” she shared.

In her thread, she said, in a light-hearted tweet, that Lulu is now with late singer Brenda Fassie getting up to no good. She made up a dialogue of what their interaction would sound like:

Well the pain is gone and she is probably up to no good with Fassie.
Brenda: oh i intombi ka Tembeka
Lulu: Hello sisi
Brenda: Awuna entshi? Cigarette, gway?
Lulu: Ndiyabuya
Langa reunited!
