Lady Zamar has been working on a brand new album away from the spotlight and this week she finally revealed that her body of work is almost ready for release when she teased the album cover, tracklist and the album name. Fam, if you weren't already excited then you're about to lose your minds because this album is going to be royalty!

Lady Zamar, through her publicist at The Alore Group, has just confirmed that her new album will be called MONARCH. For those who aren't aware of the meaning, a monarch is a royal head of state; so think Kings, Queens and Emperors. And it's a fitting title too because ever since she hit the scene with her unique brand of vocals she has been the queen of the house, dance and pop music scenes.

Watch: Lady Zamar and her ex, Sjava, jamming in studio.

Lady Zamar has already teased the artwork on her social media and it's symbolic of her transformation as an artist. We met her as a caterpillar, she underwent a lengthy transition as a burgeoning cocoon but with this album, she has well and truly taken her final form as a butterfly (also, side note, in the animal kingdom there exists as species called the Monarch Butterfly).

The tracklist is HOT! Nevermind the fact that Queen Zamar is blessing us with 20 tracks, we also have the pleasure of listening to features from hook king Tellaman and American rapper, Rapsody. Check it out below:

An elated Zamar expressed her excitement at the upcoming album when she said:

“Finally Monarch is here! I’m so thrilled to share my album title and my album cover with my fans – the Zamartians!” She went on to add “I have been working on this album for over a year, and I can’t wait for fans to hear this 20 track project!”

We're not sure about you fam, but we can't wait to see Lady Zamar in her final form on this upcoming record. Her second studio album will be available for pre-order this Friday before going on sale later in the month.

Hands up if you can't wait?
