It is a dream for any musician to collaborate with an international multi-award winning group like Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
On Sunday, magic was created when the Soil and Ladysmith Black Mambazo met in studio in Durban to record Hamba Uyosebenza.
The single will be on the Soil’s fourth coming album, Nostalgic Moments, to be released in September.
“Ladysmith Black Mambazo has been our source of inspiration from day one and their energy and constant reinvention within such a misunderstood genre motivated us to keep going,” said the Soil.
Ladysmith Black Mambazo leader Joseph Shabalala said he never knew their music would be "an inspiration and appreciated by young people".
We know the upcoming album will be a success. Looking forward to playing it this September.
