Langa Mavuso

The 'Sunday Blues' crooner was on the bill for Wednesday night at The Orbit. Though people have seen his performances at the Feel Good Series, Let's Play Outside and Kitcheners, they still wanted more this was proven by how quickly the show sold out.

But the selling out of the show wasn't going to come between people and iLanga labo. From the Instastories posted and the video's taken people got that and more. He went through a flurry of his hits including Sunday Blues, Love Six and Home (and he also added in Bongeziwe Mabandla's falsetto part from their collaboration on Liminal Sketches for added measure).

He didn't stop there though, he wanted to snatch every soul in that room and he did by covering the late Hugh Masekela's classic 'Stimela', Ladysmith Black Mambazo's 'Homeless' and Busi Mhlongo's 'Yise Wabant' Bami'. He didn't let himself shine only though he gave the drummer and one of his singers (sister with the RUNS) some. The band and backing vocalists added a whole new dimension to his already varied range.

Judging from the crowd responses, the night was a success and people cannot wait to see what's next from this vocal powerhouse.
