Actress Linda Mtoba recently returned back to work on the set of The River and her on-screen debut took place this week, much to the delight of fans.
Her return to work has the actress reflecting on how great her employer Tshedza Pictures treated her from the time she left screens and her return post-maternity leave. Linda's role on The River has been a recurring role with her coming and going in as the storyline needed.
Even before announcing her pregnancy to the public, Linda has always had a great relationship with her castmates and crew members.
In her love letter, Linda expressed her gratitude to her bosses for accepting her for who she is and for not leaving her out and always reassuring her of her part and value.
"For never leaving me out, for reassuring me of my part & value. For letting me know that I can have all that I want, that I can have a career, be a wife & a mother. In a world where woman are often left to choose one or other," wrote Linda.
In a world where not all actors have positive things to say about the production houses they work for, it's good to hear a different kind of message from the industry.
Linda in her love letter expressed how Tshedza Pictures gave her all the time she needed to be home and be a mom to her daughter bean. The production house kept to their word of that Linda was ready to return to work she should let them know.
"And indeed true to your words, it was. As daunting as it is to back with my new self, I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for allowing me to come as I am," shared Linda.
Phathu Makwarela, co-founder of Tshedza Pictures expressed on Twitter how the letter had in tears.
