South African singer and reality television star Londie London recently turned 30-years-old and hosted her friends at an intimate tea party.
Londie might not be everyone’s favourite celebrity but if there’s one thing that we can all agree on is the fact that she knows how to pick and rock a good dress.
She wore a custom-made pink dress and designer shoes to match. Spotted at the tea were high-profile celebrities including Kefilwe Mabote, Bobby Blanco, Lerato Sengadi, Cici, and Lasizwe but to mention a few.
“The love that filled up @sammysweet_bakery for my #LondiesThirTea was beyond. Thank you again to each and everyone one of you for celebrating the beginning to a new decade with me ❤️. To my friends that couldn’t make it and sent gifts and messages- I love & appreciate you so much.
“To all the messages here on Instagram from people that I’ve never met before, ngyabonga guyyyys. To another decade,” posted a grateful Londie London on her social media.

Londie London has joined the new season of Showmax’s popular reality television show, The Real Housewives of Durban. On joining the show, the star said that she wanted the public to see how she’s rebranding herself ever since she became a wife and a mother.
“Since I've become a wife, and a mother, I thought it would be a great idea for the public to see how I’m rebranding myself,” says the musician, actress, and jewelry designer. “People know me as this sexy singer and I feel like they don't really know my personality and what I'm about outside of the entertainment industry."
“Londiwe oozes class and confidence,” says Season 2 director Thumeka Hlotshana from Let It Rain Films. “She is relatable and honest when the moment calls for it, especially about the things that matter. Her favourite word, ‘Honey’, is definitely going to be the thing for the season… ‘Enjoy, honey!’”
Thobile who also joined season 2 of The Real Housewives of Durban says she wants the public to know her outside of Uthando Nes’thembu.
“Many people know me from Uthando Nes'thembu, and they haven't had the opportunity to know and understand Thobile as an individual,” she says. “Wherever I go, I'm always associated with the family I'm married into, which is not a bad thing and is not something I have a problem with. However, I do have a life outside of the whole family.”
Her decision was also motivated by her hunger to find like-minded women. “I need people that I can mingle with, people who inspire me and make sense to me,” she says. “I’ve already seen these women do things for themselves, which is inspiring. They are self-driven like I am."
