Singer Makhadzi's winning streak just won't quit, and it's beautiful to watch!
She has just made her debut as a beauty queen. Makhadzi was recently on the cover of a magazine, and no, not a South African magazine. She was on the cover of Classique, a UK legendary magazine.
It gets better. She is the second South African woman to grace the magazine cover, after Kelly Khumalo who did it in April 2021, and we couldn't be more proud of her. This is clearly a great year for our ladies!
In addition to that, she is set to have performances in the United States and the United Kingdom in 2022. Yes, her international stardom is just getting started. She is currently in Nigeria, where she is set to perform at the AFRIMA Awards. She went online to share with her fans how emotional she was for getting the big honour. She was very excited to be sharing a stage with some of her favourite artists, and we see why. Have a look.
Makhadzi has recently been proving day after day that she is exactly who she thinks she is. She had manifested that she would be the next South African billionaire, and at the rate she keeps winning, we see it in her future too. She just signed a R120 Million mega deal with Kicks Sportswear SA, a top athletic shoes and accessories retailer.
The campaign, dubbed Kokovha, aims to create, develop, and promote a new range of items that, according to the artist, would reflect her personality, views, and ideas. She accompanied it with a nice promotional film.
Makhadzi is cementing her place in Africa’s history of the greats. As of now, her face is appearing on billboards all over the continent, and she shared what a beautiful surprise it was to run into her own face while out and about the streets of Lagos. Sis, we can only wish and stan.
This is definitely not going to be the artist's last win. She has proven that she is going for the top spot, and we don’t see anyone who would be able to stop her if they tried. Even though she often gets in trouble for different reasons, the latest was simply because her fans love her so much that the police are willing to give up their free time to protect her.
