The contents of the video did not sit well with many of people in South Africa, with a wave of Tweeps starting the trending hashtag #MampinsthaIsTrash.
Well, it seems Mandla Maphumulo, commonly known as Mampintsha got hot under the collar as he had reportedly handed himself to the police at the Westville Police Station in Kwa Zulu Natal earlier today. This is after Bongekile ‘Babes Wodumo’ Simelane laid charges of assault against him shortly after that video gained traction.

…And now, in the turn of new events, leading news channel, eNCA reported that, Mampintsha has been released on a R 2,000 bail, which did not sit well with the masses after he had being charged with common assault. One of the bail conditions include, not communicating with Babes Wodumo.

With the emotional trauma that Babes Wodumo is currently entrenched in, she is receiving medical care at an undisclosed location, as her father, Welcome Simelane revealed that his daughter is being kept at a ”safe place” away from the intrusion of the media intrusion and general public.
The Simelane family has spoken out about the buzz around one of their own, with the Father boldly revealing that Mampintsha has been repeatedly abusing his daughter, as Babes would regularly confide in him.
The level of abuse also spiralled out into Babes’s finances, whereby monies from her lucrative deal with hit film Black Panther have not been due to her, of which worried the Father quite a lot.
The nation is naturally tuned in to this case, as it has been dubbed the biggest scandal yet. The ending to this story is what many are unable to predict.
