The Generations The Legacy star has finally given birth to her bundle of joy. Taking to Instagram yesterday, Manaka posted a picture of her baby hand and revealed that she gave birth on the 15th of December 2020. The actress gave birth to a baby boy.

Manaka who plays Lucy Diale in Generations The Legacy has been keeping her pregnancy under wraps and she confirmed to Daily Sun that she had a bun baking in her oven. The actress who is not a first-time mom slammed those who said they hope she is carrying a baby boy.

"It’s the same feeling I felt when I had my two daughters, so this experience is nothing new. People have been saying they hope I’m carrying a boy, but we’ll see. I look forward to giving birth to a child. I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl, as long as it’s not an animal,” she said.

“Boys and girls are equally important and have different functions in society. “I don’t believe that boys are necessarily better. According to society and cultural norms, they’re carriers of legacies. Girls also bring kids into this world,” she added.

Another actress who recently gave birth is Sphelele Mzimela. The former Uzalo actress gave birth to twins.

Sphelele recently spoke to Move Magazine about her struggles to conceive for the longest time and revealed that when she found out that she was pregnant she was on cloud nine. In a post, Sphelele said her grandmother visited her in a dream, to reveal that she will give birth to twins.

She said she understands why she was unable to conceive in a few years because the stars were just not aligned. Sphelele was recently given the boot from Uzalo and speaking to Tshisalive Uzalo's Nomfundo Zondi said,

“Unfortunately Sphelele, who played Mazaza, was unable to continue with her role due to her personal ailments. Uzalo wishes her good health and a speedy recovery. As such, Uzalo has recast the role of Mazaza and she will be played by the electric Mpume Ngwenya.”

Congratulations are in order for the new mommies.
