Twitter users have expressed their excitement for radio personality Mantsoe Pout. The former 94.7 radio host announced that she is back on radio 4 months since her departure from 94.7.
Mantsoe said she has joined a new radio station and she is excited about her new journey.
She tweeted: "After 4 months of no radio, I'm proud to announce that I'll be joining a brand new Joburg radio station, STAR FM as the host of their lunchtime show, #StarLunchWithMantsoePout Confetti ball I'm so excited about this venture! Catch me on 91.9 from July 1st!"
Tweeps could not contain their excitement, @Rudzi_N responded: "Yassssssss!!!!! Welcome back pout! Now we just need DJ Fresh and all my fave people will be back on the Radio!! Nothing better than Greg and Lucky back as a duo too!!!"

Mantsoe parted ways with 94.7 earlier this year. The station then welcomed Mantsoe's best friend Thando Thabethe who in a statement revealed that she was excited to finally get back on the air.
Thando had been away from radio for a year since she parted ways with 5FM. The statement read: “I am really excited to be returning to radio and to have been approached by Joburg’s coolest frequency, 947, is just fantastic. I have always loved radio as a medium to genuinely connect with people through music and conversation.
“I believe music is a true leveler, bringing people together in a place and time that is about what they are hearing and how it makes them feel. I can’t wait to get behind the mic and contribute to our 947 audience’s listening experience.”
Thando replaced DJ Fresh as the new host of #947DriveWithThando. The statement released by the broadcaster on Fresh's departure states that: "10 February 2021, Johannesburg – Primedia Broadcasting can confirm that, after careful consideration of the events of the last few weeks, the company has decided to release DJ Fresh and Euphonik from their contracts. Their last shows on 947 were aired on 15th January and 10th January 2021 respectively.
“This decision does not reflect a view on the veracity of any allegations against either Euphonik or Fresh. Rather it prioritizes Primedia Broadcasting’s business imperatives. We believe that this decision is in the best interest of our company and our various stakeholders,” says Geraint Crwys-Williams, Interim CEO of Primedia Broadcasting.
