Congratulations are in order for child star Mbulele Katise, who has announced that he has bagged a qualification in Film and production.
You may have been wondering where the actor has been, well homeboy has been working on his qualification, which we love to see. Taking to his Facebook account, he announced that he is officially a qualified filmmaker.
"Let me leave this right here. Officially a qualified filmmaker. Thank you to the most high God for his blessings throughout this journey. Thank you to my family and friends who have been nothing short of amazing throughout this journey," he wrote.
He shared pictures from his graduation ceremony where is seen flanked by his family. After sharing the post, congratulatory messages started flooding in.
The actor recently ventured into music. Speaking to Daily Sun in 2021, he revealed that he has always wanted to do music but he was scared to pursue it.
“I’ve always loved music, but I was always scared to pursue it. I was trying to sideline it and do things like manage artists and write songs for people. And finally in 2018, I decided to go with it,” he told the publication.
“I threw myself in the deep end. I went to a radio interview, and they asked why I don’t do music and I said the next time I come for an interview, I’ll come with a new song. And my next interview with them was in a matter of months. So, I had to start working. That’s how everything started,” he added.
Mbulelo revealed that he decided to take a break from acting to focus on his studies. The actor played the character of Sicelo on Scandal and fans have been missing seeing him on the small screens.
The actor has been in the industry for close to a decade now. He shot to fame after he landed the role of Jigga on Generations and he never looked back. He has since flexed his acting muscles in numerous TV shows including Scandal and Shreds and Dreams.
His sister Fezaka Katise is also a famous actress. She is known for playing the role of Precious Yengwa in the SABC1 drama series Mfolozi Street and she has also acted on Generations. Their grandmother is also in the industry. Frances Ndlwazilwana is an amazing actress who has starred in numerous productions including After Nine and Erfsondes.
Another young actor who recently shared that she is a graduates is Scandal actress Botlhale Boikanyo. She revealed that she has obtained a degree in Motion Pictures.
