Wooh! Producers are fighting for our attention. Following Mzansi Magic’s entirely new line-up of new and returning shows, eTV announces their latest effort in the form of a drama called Harvest.
We’re only three episodes into Broken Vows which currently airs every evening at 8pm so we’ll have to figure out a way to fit Harvest into the schedule.
Harvest follows the story of three women, Celia (played by Masasa Mbangeni), Clementine (Vatiswa Ndara) and Tshepiso (Khanya Mkangisa) who are forced to take over an illegal business when their husbands are tragically murdered.
The first thing we thought was “all three of them murdered at once?! Tjo.”
The show’s cast also features the likes of Muzi Mathebula (Duma from Isibaya), Mutodi Neshehe (Zola from Generations), Simphiwe Mini (Njabulo from Muvhango), Kagiso Modupe (Mangi on Scandal), Petronella Tshuma (Ruby on Scandal), new-comers Anathi Seyisi and Lutho John as well as industry favourites Oros Mampofu, Rami Chuene, Fezile Makhanya, Thenjiwe Moseley, Lebohang Motaung, Batsile Ramasodi and Junior Singo.
Harvest premieres on eTV on Monday, 01 May at 9:30pm.
