Media personality Minnie Dlamini has taken to her Instagram account to gush over her colleague Lungile Radu.
The duo hosts one of Mzansi's biggest lifestyle-meets-sports shows every Monday on Mzansi Magic called Homeground. Minnie and Lungile have won the hearts of many people with their presenting skills and the way they complement one another on screen.
Praising him, Minnie says she has learned a lot from Lungile about business, and he lets her flourish. "I’ve been working with this multi-talented powerhouse for about 4years. I always joke and say he’s my TV Husband. But in all honesty he’s my big brother who has taught me so much about this business, and has no issue to let me shine. The moment I told him I’m producing my first film he told me immediately that he’s in, no questions asked ( No love Lost o@showmaxonline shameless plug I know)," she wrote.
There was no special occasion behind Minnie's appreciation post, she said she just wanted to show love to him and said she enjoys working with him. "Working with you is such fun, it doesn’t feel like work. It’s not your birthday or any special day. I just wanted to show my love and appreciation for my bro @lungileradu The presenting duo that produces TV & film," she wrote.
It is beautiful to see Minnie smiling again. The media personality made headlines for the past two weeks after controversial blogger Musa Khawula alleged she, and her estranged husband Quinton Jones, parted ways due to her alleged infidelity. According to Khawula, Minnie allegedly had a romantic relationship with controversial businessman Edwin Sodi.
As a result, Quinton allegedly filed for divorce. The pair did not take the accusations lightly. According to their joint statement, they would take legal action against those who circulated the false reports about them.
They further refuted the claims: "Without saying much more, all allegations made are false, damaging, and malicious," reads part of the statement. The two described the fabrications as "harmful and unnecessary." They said their priority is to remain friends and co-parent their son Netha. "We kindly ask that you allow us to go through our private processes without dragging ourselves, our families, and our loved ones into baseless rumours and social media sensationalism. These baseless rumours affect not only us, but our child."
Minnie and Quinton announced their separation in February 2021. They said despite their best efforts to make their marriage work, they said that "emotional burden and the post-traumatic distress of their individual loss outweighed their will."
“In the last two years our family has experienced incredible joy and devastating loss. During this time we found comfort in knowing we had each other.
“Despite our better efforts to absorb the changes in motion, the emotional burden and post-traumatic distress of our individual loss far outweighed our will. After months of separation and consultations with our family and a counsellor, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce,” reads an Instagram statement at the time
