South Africa media personality, Minnie Dlamini-Jones has something to say about the entertainment industry. The star took to Twitter on Thursday to express her views on what she believes the lockdown has exposed about people in the industry.

She stated, “This lockdown is truly exposing the entertainment industry for what it is. Underpaid, undervalued and over hyped PR stunts!!! Things aren't what they seem... We need to do better as a whole. Clout doesn't pay the bills…”

Fans quickly responded to her tweet, requesting that she elaborated on her statement, with many claiming that it had come across as hypocrisy.

Many believed that her feelings were based on the fact that celebrities are not able to afford the lifestyle they claim to be living, and are being exposed for not having as much as they though they did.

Earlier in the day, Minnie celebrated ten-years in the industry.

She took to Instagram to share a sentimental post about her journey in television and spoke about the many opportunities she had been given along the way.
