Not too long ago, media personality Mohale Motaung took to his social media to announce that he had been nominated for the Africa Choice Award to receive the Male Personality of the year. Mohale, who has had quite the rough patch this past month, finally has something to be happy about and we love to see it.

Mohale took to his Twitter and Instagram to share the good news, confirming that he had won the award, beating five others who were competing for the same award. Sharing his joy and excitement at the news, Mohale wrote,

“Y’all need to wake up because I was awarded with a male personality of the year INTERNATIONAL award in Nigeria last night !!!!!
A special thank you to everyone that voted. A super thank you to the @africachoiceawards team and my amazing management team @allinn_management for always pushing me!

SOUTH AFRICA, we brought this one home. 🇿🇦 🇿🇦”

Fans have since taken to congratulate him for this big win, clearly elated and happy for him as well. His fans agree that the award was well deserved and that they are all proud of him. Now he can add that “Award winning” title on his social media. Fans couldn’t be any happier for the radio presenter.

Among those who have sent in their congratulations are fellow friends and industry mates, including Opulence Radio where Mohale hosts the breakfast show alongside social media influencer Pamela Mtanga.

If you recall, it was just this year when he got the job at Opulence radio and so far, it seems Mzansi is loving this new gig for him. The news got him equally excited and it seems despite the many times that he has been dragged for one thing or the other, this year has treated him fairly well.

Mohale who previously parted ways with his estranged husband had his fans worried over him when he announced not too long ago that someone had tried to spike his drink at a club where he was hanging out with his friends.

Many questioned whether or not this could be the doing of Somgaga seeing that they are not in the best of terms.

It was also just recently when the media personality was accused of stealing Somizi’s ideas and using them as his own. Mohale who had been organizing a brunch for his fans had apparently, according to tweeps, copied Somizi’s concept of his retreat tour where he was meeting up with his fans for a meal and even book signing.
