The Eastern Cape born and raised entertainer has amassed more than a million views on YouTube and has a massive following on social media. Moshe says this is a dream come true and he is ecstatic about his hosting duties.

“I am super ecstatic to be this year's Miss South Africa red carpet host! It is an honour to be a part of the Miss South Africa legacy. This is truly a blessing and a dream transformed into reality. There’s something beautiful about making dreams come true and on August 13 we will be making a young person’s dream become a reality by crowning her Miss South Africa 2022," says Moshe.

The flamboyant media personality says he is expecting nothing but glitz and glam.

“I am expecting nothing but the finest red carpet looks from our celebrity guests who’ll be gracing us on the evening so those at home should expect everything that is glitz and glam," he continued.

Both the red carpet coverage, pageant finale and interview with the newly crowned Miss South Africa will be live streamed exclusively on the Miss South Africa app.

Radio host and media personality Anele Mdoda will host the official Miss SA 2022 pageant live show. Mdoda shared her excitement via a statement released by the Miss SA organization.

"'I m very excited that we are back to a full capacity arena, because a packed arena suits my energy levels and always motivates me to work just that little bit harder to ensure that everyone has a good time and really enjoys the evening," she said.

She also gave advice to this year’s top 10 finalists is for them to have fun and “be in the moment.” She adds: “They should not worry about what they think they look like or whether they answered a question correctly or if something happens to their hair or their dress when they’re on stage. No one cares. If they are having a good time everybody else is having a good time.

Congratulations to the stars.
