Earlier today, MTV Base South Africa announced the return of their highly popular ‘Behind The Story’ series which will now be hosted by highly controversial South African media personality, Pearl Thusi.
The show’s first season aired three years ago and was hosted by the first ever MTV Base VJ search Africa winner, Sizwe Dhlomo – who interviewed Cassper Nyovest among a number of other newsmakers.
This coming season, Thusi will sit down with the likes of Majota ‘Phat Joe’ Nkambule, Somizi Mhlongo, Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, Zodwa Wabantu and her best friend, Ntombezinhle ‘DJ Zinhle’ Jiyane. Based solely on the one-minute long snippet, this season looks like it’s set to be lit. Check it out.
Behind The Story season 2 kicks off on Wednesday 30th May 2018 at 21h30 CAT and will air every Wednesday thereafter.
