Isibaya is losing yet another talent as Muzi Mthabela bows out.
Just a few months ago Pallance Dladla reportedly took a break from the telenovela. Nomzamo Mbatha left for America and duo Jessica Nkosi and Menzi Ngubane are joining The Queen Mzansi.
Now popular entertainment blogger Phil Mphela has dropped another bombshell.
In a tweet he spilled the tea and made speculations of where he thinks Muzi is going.
According to him he has a hunch the star could be joining the Shaka Zulu remake.
"Mzansi Magic has announced that the dapper star is leaving the role of Duma on the soapie to take on a leading role in a new project. I believe that new role is as Shaka on the up-coming MNet series “Shaka Ilembe”
Late last year Bomb Productions has put the word out that they are on the look out for the actor who would play the Zulu warrior. “Previous film experience is not necessary. We are looking to unearth new talent who will perform alongside our great, experienced actors,” says Bomb producer, Angus Gibson.
“The search for Shaka will be at the heart of the casting – we will be looking for him as a baby, at seven, twelve and eighteen years – as well as the man. Then there is Nandi, Mkabayi, Dingiswayo, Zwide, Ntombase and many other riveting characters whom we see at different stages of their lives.”
Do you think Muzi would be a good fit for the series?
