The celebrity chef passed away on 28 February after a short illness and his death has left many people across the country reeling. Lentswe was one of the country's well-known chefs and he appeared on numerous shows such as Africa on a Plate, The Great South African Bake Off as well as KFC Taste Kitchen.
Announcing the news in a statement shared on his social media pages, his family revealed that he passed away at the Sandton Medi-Clinic.
Taking to his Twitter account to react to the news of his passing, Langa Mavuso wrote "Lizwi Lam."
