Taking to social media, Nadia revealed that she is back in the game. If you're looking to get signed under her recording company though, you might have to wait just a little bit longer because the rapper revealed that she would be focusing on herself for the time being.

Nadia treated her fans to some music and gave them a taste of what to expect now that she is her own boss. With the release of Yacht, Nadia proved once again how much of a dope rapper she is.

Last year, Nadia announced the launch of her very own record label Bragga Records and said her inspiration comes from Cassper Nyovest who he signed under his label Family Tree.

I’m so excited about the next chapter of my life! Here’s to officially starting my own record label BRAGGA RECORDS. I wouldn’t be able to do this without @casspernyovest and @familytreeworld THANK YOU for all that you invested in me over the years!"

Speaking to Drum, Nadia said her move was a normal one for any artist who wants to grow and stand on their own. She had worked on the label for some time now.

“Bragga Records was always in the pipeline because every time I achieve something monumental I always think about the next big thing I can work on. I am very self-sufficient and self-motivated and I just always want to be able to break barriers for myself as well. To be able to achieve things is exciting and there is a level of growth when you can one up to your previous move,” she told the publication.

When she announced this, she revealed that Cassper actually helped her come up with names for her label when she left his. He was disappointed but eventually he got over it at some point.

“I am no longer with The Tree," she told Slikour On Life. "I am working on my own record label. I need to be able to stand on my own. Funny enough, I was actually scared to tell Cass. Even after I told him, I could feel that he was a bit sad, but we are good.

“He even suggested a few record label names for me to use... I will always hold Cass in the highest regard and respect because he’s been very instrumental in my career and my life. I want to be able to get to a point where even when I have kids, I can still work on an artist and actively build their brand. I am a little bit scared but also super excited.”

Nadia also mentioned once that her relationship with Cass did get hit a bit when she broke bread with AKA on his Braai Show. She said Cassper did not speak to her for months but later warmed up to her again. “After I did the Braai Show we didn’t speak for like eight months so I got so used to not talking to him much.”
