Pearl Thusi is ready to make yet another African original Netflix movie for us to enjoy.

Showrunner and Director Kagiso Lediga (named as one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People 2019) will be joined by Director Tebogo Malope (Cannes Lions and SAFTA award winner), with both directing three episodes each. The team will be led by Executive Producer Tamsin Andersson.
Just a few months ago, Netflix also released another original African series titled Shadow which starred actors - Pallance Dladla and Amanda DuPont.

Queen Sono is set to be available on the content streaming platform in the year 2020.
