Yesterday, South African rapper and television presenter Nomuzi 'Moozlie' Mabena took to Twitter to voice her frustration at the amount of workload she's been faced with lately.
At 7 am in morning, the rapper tweeted about the struggles of being an independent artist. "It’s only 7am and being an independent artist is already showing me flames."
It must have been a bad day for the Benoni-born artist for her to wake up so early and tweet about seeing flames.
Nomuzi left her job at MTV a few years back to pursue a career in music. She joined K.O's Cashtime life in 2014.
In 2017 she dropped her debut mixtape titled Versus. The project produced three singles, namely Getting, Recipe, and Bum Bum featuring Gemini Major. The following year she dropped her debut album titled Victory. The album was supported by one of the biggest singles of 2018, Vatela featuring Kid X.
Many slammed her career path in the initial stages as it failed to kick off. However, Nomuzi has gotten better over the years as a rapper and as an artist. Her fan base has grown and she's been getting countless bookings.
This morning, the star released a new single under her record label 'Nomuzi Mabena Music titled LALALA. On the record, she features vocalists Thabise and Phantom Steez.
While promoting the new record, Nomuzi also encouraged her fans to get themselves a pair of DJ Zinhle's new headphones. She shared a snap of herself and her two celeb besties Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle.
"My new singles slaps different when you with your girls & ya’ll rocking that new #EraVision 🤞🏾😎👯♀️🔥 Hit the link in my bio to get the song & go to @erabydjzinhle for an epic Black Friday sale"
