Isono Goes On Production Break Due To COVID-19 Surge

The show's premiere date has now been postponed

The highly anticipated BET series Isono, which is scheduled to premiere on July 27 has gone on a production break due to the peak of COVID-19 in the country.

Isono features a star-studded cast with the likes of Nthati Moshesh, Rami Chuene, Bohang Moeko, Anga 'Naakmusiq' Makhubalo and Senzo Radebe to mention a few.

Taking to Twitter, Clive Morris Production announced the decision to temporarily suspend production on the set of Isono.

"Cast & crew’s health and safety remain our 1st priority," read the tweet in part.


The temporary suspension means that the show's premiere will be postponed.

“As a result of the temporary production suspension, the #IsonoBET premiere date has been postponed. Brace yourself for the #BETAfricaOriginal coming soon to @dstv channel 129. Re Ya Boya Nou Nou” tweeted BET Africa.
